One of PKA's current projects, Kaiser Westside Medical Center, was featured on local news channel KGW on July 16, 2012.  Click on the link here to check it out!

In 2005, Kaiser Permanente announced plans to construct a new 138-bed general medical and surgical hospital on the westside of Portland in Hillsboro.  Teaming with Ellerbe Becket Architects, PKA was selected to help plan and design this new facility.

PKA’s ownership of the project includes the design and coordination for the Central Utility Plant, a 948-car multi-level parking structure, all of the site development, the medical planning, and tenant improvements for the Specialty Medical Office Building (also called the Hospital Support Building).  PKA has also completed several renovations to the existing on-site Sunset Medical Clinic.

PKA Architects: New Look, Same Great Service

09.29.11 | Kate Weinert

PKA Architects celebrated our 30th anniversary in 2010. Acknowledging that milestone was important to us, so we set about refreshing our logo as well as our company website. PKA Architects holds client service as our number one value and that remains unchanged. We believe it is what has led to our long-lasting client relationships. The new logo reinforces PKA Architects and at the same time gives us a refreshed look as we excitedly plan for the future. Please also enjoy perusing our new website. It is still a work in progress, but we have updated our project portfolio to showcase some of our noteworthy work from these last few years.
