In 2015 CMH enlisted PKA to design their new cancer care center. The 19,600 square foot CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaboration comprehensive cancer treatment center and specialty clinic in Astoria, Oregon broke ground in 2016. The project expands Columbia Memorial Hospital’s existing chemotherapy treatment services, and brings much needed radiation therapy services to the North Coast.

The cancer center allows cancer patients to receive more treatment closer to home in an optimal patient-centered environment. This partnership is the first of its kind for Columbia Memorial Hospital and provides the NW Coastal Columbia Region with convenient access to the most advanced cancer care available.
