From 2005 - 2009, PeaceHealth remodeled seven floors of their eight-story tower, coming to PKA to remodel the remaining floor in 2019. The scope of work included taking 16 double-occupancy patient rooms and turning them into 20 single-occupancy rooms, as well as relocating the dialysis room. 

The design was heavily influenced by a four-room mock-up completed in 2020 that allowed users from all of the relevant departments to weigh in on the decisions. This project also had to navigate the complexities of Covid-19 and was put on hold several times to allow PeaceHealth to prioritize patient care.

The space opened to patients in October of 2023.
