Sky Lakes Medical Center had been operating their hospital from the original 4,700 SF kitchen and servery from 1963. An increase in the number of patient beds and a desire to be a destination facility for the city and for Oregon Tech students led the hospital to contract with PKA for a project to renovate and expand the kitchen as well as update the existing dining room. This expansion completely remodels and increases the size of the kitchen and servery by 2,100 SF including all new equipment. The kitchen improvements throughout and the servery and dining room provide a modern experience, welcoming visitors and providing a relaxing atmosphere.
