OHSU HRC 14 Nuclear Medicine
The HRC 14 Tenant Improvement at OHSU is the third project on the HRC-14 floor, which has slowly transitioned from clinic to hospital space and to the more current version of building code. The Nuclear Medicine program on this floor offers a type of molecular therapy that is only offered at a handful of locations, so OHSU is the first provider to bring it to the Pacific Northwest, reducing patients' need to travel to another state, or sometimes another country, to receive care. In designing the layout of the space, there was a lot of care taken to hide medical equipment and make the clinic look clean and modern. The result is a beautiful use of the standard materials and a space ready to serve the patients needs without making them feel like they are in a hospital, especially since some treatments can last 4-6 hours. The PKA team was excited to help such a unique program come to life in this space.
